One partner, wherever the next opening is
Running one store is a project. Running five in different countries at once is a programme, and it fails on different things: inconsistent reporting, five interpretations of the same drawing, and a head office that finds out about a delay three weeks after site did.
We have run exactly that — parallel projects in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, London, Milan, San Francisco and Sydney — with one programme, one budget model and one weekly reporting format. Local consultants and contractors are procured and supervised by us, so you keep a single counterpart regardless of market.
Outside the Nordics we do not pretend to be local. We are the client-side authority: we appoint the people who are local, hold them to the brand standard and the programme, and travel to site at the moments where presence actually changes the outcome.
A repeatable process, document set and approval logic that travels between markets and is adapted to local law rather than reinvented.
Architects, engineers and contractors are appointed and supervised in each market so you keep one counterpart and one contract logic.
A written weekly report with photo documentation, issued at a fixed time, so teams in other time zones are never a site meeting behind.
Fixtures, finishes and brand details controlled centrally, whether produced in one factory for all markets or sourced regionally.
Shipping, duties and port lead times treated as programme items with their own float, because they usually are the critical path.
A defined decision ladder with named owners and deadlines, so an issue in Sydney does not wait for a Monday meeting in Europe.

Acne Studios boutiques across San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sydney, Stockholm and Milan — where each store is designed uniquely for its destination, with a clear connection to the local context and sense of place. From brushed stainless steel to saturated colour ceilings and bold sculptural gestures, every location expresses the brand's distinctive design identity through its own character. Swedish Project acted as program manager across the assignment, steering five parallel projects end to end — coordinating trades, suppliers and timelines across multiple markets, and translating Acne Studios' exacting brand standards into a consistent yet locally rooted boutique experience delivered worldwide.

A Day's March stores across Stockholm, Oslo and London — each boutique designed as its own expression of the brand, with a bespoke concept and material palette tailored to the character of its city and location. Swedish Project led project management across all four assignments, taking each store from initial brief through to opening day: setting budgets and programmes, procuring and negotiating with contractors and suppliers, running design coordination between the brand's in-house team and local consultants, managing permits and landlord approvals across three markets, driving site meetings and quality control on the ground, and overseeing cost, risk and timeline throughout construction and fit-out. The result is a coherent rollout of locally rooted stores, delivered on time and to a consistently high standard of Swedish quality across borders.

Swedish Project led project and program management for the rollout of It's Pleat, H&M's café concept, across multiple locations under tight deadlines and with a large number of stakeholders. The role covered the full delivery chain: setting the master schedule, breaking it down into site-specific plans, procuring and coordinating contractors and suppliers, and running day-to-day site management to keep every opening on time and on budget. As program manager we aligned H&M's retail, hospitality and property teams with landlords, authorities, kitchen consultants and specialist trades, holding a single point of accountability across parallel sites. Weekly steering with the client, structured risk and change management, and hands-on problem solving on site kept a complex hospitality concept — with commercial kitchens, MEP upgrades and bespoke joinery — moving forward at pace while maintaining a consistent guest experience across the estate.
